Nacho is a 5 year old terrier mix rescue from Mexico! I call him a schnauzer mix now more than anything because as a groomer I decided to turn him into a schnauzer and let me tell you, it suits him! If I had to describe Nacho in one word it would be feisty! He raised himself on the streets of Mexico as a stray, and it shows. He’s 10 lbs of pure fiery spirit. He’s a true terrier, in every meaning of the word. Nacho is also the most loyal boy in the world to his mom. He can go off leash despite being a terrier because he will follow me to the ends of the earth. He is also the best cuddle bug ever, he will sleep under the covers keeping me warm every night.
I got Nacho when he was estimated to be 9 months old. Someone I know was on vacation in Mexico, and this tiny, scruffy, rat- like looking thing showed up. He wouldn’t let them get too close at first, but he wouldn’t leave. Eventually they were able to gain his trust and get close to him. After that he would chase them down the street and bark at the door all night long, he chose them as his new family. They brought him to the vet, got his shots and brought him home to Canada! They messaged me, asking if I knew anyone who could take him as they had 3 dogs of their own; the next night i picked him up and brought him home! He spent the entire first day and night in my arms snuggled in and that was it, Panda and I had another best friend from that moment on! I love my baby boy.
